A week from today, the Southborough Library will host an unusual “petting zoo”.
There won’t be any cuddly animals to snuggle. This event will focus on anthropods “nvertebrates with jointed legs, including insects, centipedes, and crabs”.
The hands-on educational event for ages 3+ will be run by “Professor Bugman”. Participants will be able to “touch, smell, and listen” to the bugs.
Although the event is free (thanks to sponsorship by Friends of the Southborough Library, registration is required.
The petting zoo will take place on Wednesday, April 17th from 3:00 – 3:45 pm on the main floor.
For an idea of what to expect, I included Professor Bugman’s Facebook post after an event he held last year.
