Today is Patriots’ Day. That means, once again, a bunch of Southborough runners (and families cheering them on) are heading to Hopkinton for the Boston Marathon.
Here’s the complete list of who’s registered for the challenge. (For those publicly raising funds, I included information with links to their blog stories and direct links to their fundraising pages.*)
Please join me in wishing the following residents the best on their 26.2-mile trek this morning!
I also want to give a little spotlight to two repeat runners who qualified to run in the second wave. This will be Ramprasad Shetty’s 4th consecutive year running and Yun Gao’s 13th race in 15 years.*
While most of the Southborough runners won’t take off until at least 11:15 am, Gao and Shetty will be in the pack starting at 10:50 am.

*Yun Gao started running in the Boston Marathon in 2010 and has run every race since with the exception of 2013. (There was no marathon in 2020.)
