- Earth Day Clean Up (8:30 – 11:30 am): Rotary’s annual initiative for the community to clean up public streets and spaces. It begins by stopping by the DPW office to sign up and pickup bags & reflective vests (plus coffee & treats). For details, see dedicated post.
- Birding Walk (8:00 am) @ Beals Preserve (Main Street field): SOLF will Host a birding walk led by Mass Audubon. For details, see related post.
- Troop 823 Pasta Dinner (11:30 am – 1:30 pm) @ Trinity Church (23 Main Street), Northborough: The Boroughs’ BSA Troop for girls is holding its annual fundraiser. For details, see dedicated post.
- Earth Day Lunch (12:00 pm) @ in front of Southborough Library: Anyone who took part in the Clean Up effort is invited to join Rotary for free pizza and ice cream. For details, see dedicated post.
- Earth Day Outdoor Garden Clean up (12:30 pm) @ outside the Southboough Library: Learn about ecological gardening, and pitch in to help tidy up. bring gloves and clippers if you have them. For details, see related post.
- Sit & Knit (2:00 – 4:00pm) @ Southborough Library: Biweekly program for ages 18+ to drop in and work on your latest knitting or crochet projects while you enjoy the company of fellow yarn crafters in a relaxed social setting. All levels are welcome but no formal instruction will be given.

- GonkPlex SoccerFest for the Jimmy Fund (1:00 – 4:00 pm) @ Algonquin Regional High School fields, 79 Bartlett St, Northborough: Kids ages 7-12 are encouraged to form their own team of players to sign up for the fun soccer tournament benefitting Dana-Farber and the Jimmy Fund. - St. Mark’s Messy Church (4:00 – 6:00 pm) @ St Mark’s Episcopal Church Parish Hall, 27 Main St: A worship experience for busy families of younger kids. Includes a Bible story theme with activities, crafts, and a shared meal. For details and to RSVP, click here.

- Trottier Orientation for Parents (6:00 – 7:00 pm) @ Trottier Middle School auditorium: Information night or parents of 5th graders who will be attending the middle school as 6th graders in the fall.
- Tri-M Coffeehouse (7:00 pm) @ Algonquin Regional High School cafeteria: Annual musical open mic hosted by the school’s music honor society. (The deadline to sign up to perform has already passed.)
- Southborough Rotary Club (7:00 – 8:00 pm) @ Southborough Library, main floor: Regular meeting of the Rotary Club of Southborough. New and prospective members are always welcome. (Held on the 1st & 3rd Wednesdays of the month.)
