Downtown business Grand Opening Friday afternoon

Metrowest Mini Splits' Ribbon Cutting will include free food, prizes and a raffle to support a local charity

The public is invited to the Grand Opening downtown for Metrowest Mini Splits this Friday afternoon. To entice you to attend, the business will hold a drawing for a Free Mini Split System.*

They will also be offering free food and “Various Prizes”. Plus, they will raffle off gift cards for neighboring downtown businesses with the proceeds donated to charity.

Metrowest Mini Pumps Grand Opening flyerThe opening and ribbon cutting is for a new Heat Pump & HVAC Showroom at 3 Main Street, which was recently vacated by Hiller’s Cleaners.**

The event will take place Friday, May 3rd, at 2:00 pm. The flyer invites attendees to bring an “item” or make a donation to Family Promise Metrowest. It is the same charity that the gift card will benefit.

Family Promise Metrowest promotes:

Our mission is to transform the lives of families with children that are facing homelessness by mobilizing a diverse community to provide shelter, education, and comprehensive support.

We serve low- and moderate-income families with at least one child under the age of 18 who are homeless or at risk of homelessness. Our families are Massachusetts residents, with priority given to families from the Metrowest region. We welcome all genders and family compositions.

A detail to keep in mind if you are considering bringing an item to donate — their services include helping families transitioning out of shelters. (You can learn more about the charity here.)

*The system giveaway is listed as an up to $8K value but doesn’t include the electrical work.

**Hiller’s closed its downtown Southborough location a couple of months ago, but they still have a location in Hopkinton.

Congratulations to Jamie, Alan and their team! Metrowest Mini Splits installed a system for me just before that awful heatwave of July 2022. Air conditioning in an antique house – it’s a fabulous concept! They did an excellent job and have been very responsive to all my questions. Best of luck with the new downtown business!
