This morning, I posted information on the annual spring concert by the community chorus based out of Northborough. Since that often overlaps the timing for the chorus to our west, I looked for their schedule.
It turns out that Westborough Community Chorus will also be singing Broadway inspired showtunes this weekend. The good news is that if you’re a fan of that genre, you could actually attend both.*
WCC will be performing “Broadway Sensations!” twice this weekend.
The performances will be held at Gibbons Middle School (20 Fisher St, Westborough) on:
- Saturday, May 4, 7:30 pm
- Sunday, May 5, 2:00 pm
The concert is promoted as featuring “songs from dozens of your favorite Broadway musicals” including:
- Give My Regards to Broadway
- Oklahoma’s “Oh, What a Beautiful Morning”
- Hello, Dolly!
- Phantom of the Opera’s “Music of the Night”
- Hamilton’s “Alexander Hamilton”
Tickets are $15 for adults or $10 for students/seniors at the door. If you prefer to make an advance electronic payment, you can do that here (with an extra 5% fee).
Both regional choruses include Southborough residents as members.
*If you attend WCC’s Saturday night concert you can also attend NACC’s Sunday afternoon concert.
