Here is another community chorus with Southborough members that is performing this spring. The Heritage Chorale will be performing works based on poetry.
The chorus promotes:
We’ll be presenting Roland Carter’s “Hold Fast to Dreams,” based on a poem by Langston Hughes, Florence Price’s “Abraham Lincoln Walks at Midnight”, based on a poem by Vachel Lindsay, and Margaret Bonds’s “Simon Bore the Cross”, based on a poem again by Langston Hughes.
The concert is 4:00 pm on Sunday, November 19t at Framingham’s Fuller Middle School. To purchase tickets in advance online, please visit heritagechorale.org.
