  • Southborough Safe Spaces – Youth Meeting (6:00 – 8:00 pm) @ St Mark’s Church, 27 Main Street: Event for grades 6-12 hosted by Southborough Safe Spaces for LBGTQ+ youth of all faiths and their allies. Tonight, they’ll be cooking dinner For details, see their instagram posts.

  • Southborough Gardeners Plant Sale (8:00 am – 12:00 pm) @ where: The annual spring fundraiser by the Southborough Gardeners. They’ll be selling a variety of plants from members’ gardens including annuals, perennials, and hanging baskets. For details, see dedicated post.
  • Coding for Kids (Elementary) (12:30 – 1:30 pm) @ Southborough Library, main floor: Registration is required for this free event in which Iridium Tutoring will introduce kids in grades 3-5 to block coding through Wonder Dash Robot. To register, click here.
  • Coding for Kids (Middle School) (2:45 – 4:45 pm) @ Southborough Library, main floor: Registration is required for this free event in which Iridium Tutoring will use a computer electronics kit to show students in grades 6-8 how microcomputers can be developed. To register, click here.

  • Early Morning Bird Walk (7:30 am) @ Breakneck Hill Conservation Land (meet at trailhead parking lot across from 73 Breakneck Hill Rd): A guided birding walk. Please bring binoculars and water. For details, see dedicated post.
  • DIY Gulbankian Workshop (3:00 pm) @ Gulbankian Florist, 40 Mt Vickery Rd: There is a registration fee and attendance is limited. This session is a DIY Herb garden planter workshop. For details, see related post.

  • Walking Group for Seniors (8:30 am) @ Trottier Middle School’s outdoor track: Free weekly walking group organized by the Southborough Senior Center. Walkers generally go for an hour, but continue for as long as you wish. The location is a loop, so feel free to join late.
  • Preschool Story Time (10:30 – 11:15 am) @ Southborough Library Children’s Room: Ages 2-5 are invited for stories and a craft based on a weekly theme. No registration required. For details, see related post.
  • Knitting Club (1:00 pm) @ Southborough Senior Center: Bi-monthly social knitting group. Beginners are welcome and supplies will be provided, though you can also bring your own and “any creation you are working on”. For details, see related post.
  • ARHS Scholastic Night (6:30 pm) @ Algonquin Regional High School auditorium: This is a celebratory event where Algonquin will announce and present awards and scholarships to Class of 2024 Seniors for their many and varied accomplishments.

  • Preschool Story Time (10:30 – 11:15 am) @ Southborough Library Children’s Room: Ages 2-5 are invited for stories and a craft based on a weekly theme. No registration required. For details, see related post.
  • Bridge (12:00 pm) @ Southborough Senior Center: A weekly card group, welcoming new participants. For details, contact the Senior Center at 508-229-4453.
  • Narcan Training (6:00 – 6:30 pm) @ Southborough Library: The Greater Boroughs Partnership for Health is providing another session to train the public on how to use Narcan, plus the necessary supplies. Registration is required. For details, click here.
  • Suicide Prevention QPR Training (6:30 – 8:30 pm) @ zoom: Southborough Youth and Family Services will train participants on simple steps to prevent suicide. Registration is required. For details, see dedicated post.
  • Geeks Who Drink Trivia Night (8:00 – 10:00 pm) @ Owen O’Leary’s, 50 Turnpike Rd: Weekly Trivia game night with prizes. For details, see dedicated post.

  • Walking Group for Seniors (8:30 am) @ Southborough cemetery, 11 Cordaville Road: Free weekly walking group organized by the Southborough Senior Center. Walkers generally go for an hour, but continue for as long as you wish. The location is a loop, so feel free to join late.
  • Food Truck Festival (3:30 pm – 7:00 pm) @ St Mark’s Field (corner of Rtes 30 & 85): Four dinner trucks and one ice cream truck will be parked on the downtown field along with picnic tables (and plenty of room for blankets and chairs). There is no admission fee, just the cost of food. The first of four nights in the series organized by the Southborough Rotary Club each spring. For details, see related posts.
  • Bug Hunting with Hands on Nature (4:00 – 5:00 pm) @ Southborough Library: Registration is required for this free science event for ages 5+, sponsored by the Friends of the Southborough Library. For details, see dedicated post.
  • Read to a Dog (6:30 – 7:30 pm) @ Southborough Library, Children’s Room: (Rescheduled from May 15th.) Register for kids ages 5+ to get a chance to read to a therapy dog. Please register in the Children’s Room (or you can email kivers@southboroughma.com or call 508-485-5031).

  • Baby/Toddler Storytime (11:00 – 11:45 am) @ Southborough Library Children’s Room: A weekly program for ages 0-2 years with their parents/caregivers. Each session will include puppets and music. No registration required. For details, see related post.
  • Young Scientists STEM Beginnings (1:00 – 1:45 pm) @ Southborough Library: This is a free 6-week in-person series for children, ages 3-6 to learn STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math) concepts through hands-on activities, story time and simple experiments..
