- American Legion Baseball Season Opener (5:30 pm) @ Memorial Field, Northborough: The local team of high school and college freshman baseball players (including Southborough residents) is scheduled to play Leominster in its home opener. For details, see related post.

- Summer Book Sale (10:00 am – 3:00 pm) @ Southborough Library parking lot: The Friends of the Southborough Library will hold its annual book summer book sale (and a bake sale). For details, see dedicated post.
- Sit & Knit (2:00 – 4:00pm) @ Southborough Library: Biweekly program for ages 18+ to drop in and work on your latest knitting or crochet projects while you enjoy the company of fellow yarn crafters in a relaxed social setting. All levels are welcome but no formal instruction will be given.

- Walking Group for Seniors (8:30 am) @ Trottier Middle School’s outdoor track: Free weekly walking group organized by the Southborough Senior Center. Walkers generally go for an hour, but continue for as long as you wish. The location is a loop, so feel free to join late.
- Preschool Story Time (10:30 – 11:15 am) @ Southborough Library Children’s Room: Ages 2-5 are invited for stories and a craft based on a weekly theme. No registration required. For details, see related post.
- Knitting Club (1:00 pm) @ Southborough Senior Center: Bi-monthly social knitting group. Beginners are welcome and supplies will be provided, though you can also bring your own and “any creation you are working on”. For details, see related post.

- Poetry Workshop (6:30 – 8:30 pm) @ Southborough Library, main level: Bring in five copies of original poetry to share. The group will provide supportive feedback. If you don’t have a poem, come anyway and share your insights. (Meets twice monthly.)

- Elder Law Advice (10:00 – 10:45 am) @ phone or zoom: Southborough seniors can sign up for a free 15 minute session of individualized legal advice from an Elder Law attorney. For details, see the Senior Center’s newsletter, p. 9.
- Reading Roundtable (11:00 am – 12:00 pm) @ Southborough Library: A new monthly Book Club for adult book lovers to delve into literary analysis. For details, see related post.
- Food Truck Festival – Final Night (3:30 pm – 7:00 pm) @ St Mark’s Field (corner of Rtes 30 & 85): Four dinner trucks and one ice cream truck will be parked on the downtown field along with picnic tables (and plenty of room for blankets and chairs). There is no admission fee, just the cost of food. The last of four nights in the series organized by the Southborough Rotary Club each spring. For details, see related posts.
- Manga & Anime Club (4:30 – 5:30 pm) @ Southborough Library, Eaton Meeting Room: Monthly discussion club for fans ages 12+. For details, see related post.

- Yoga for grieving mothers (4:40 – 6:00 pm) @ Theracopia Therapeautic Wellness Center, 5 Crystal Pond Road : Free yoga, deep meditation and Reiki healing offered to mothers who have lost a child and their families. To register, click here.
- Pilgrim Church Chicken BBQ (5:00 – 7:30 pm) @ Pilgrim Congregational Church, 15 Common St: The community is encouraged to join Pilgrim Church for dinner, “Fun and Fellowship”.
