Southborough Rec posted an opportunity for getting trained (and acquiring a certificate good for 2 years) to save lives through CPR and use of AEDs. There are two classes taking place today. One is this afternoon, and the other this evening.
The classes choices are from 4:00 – 6:00 pm and 7:00 – 9:00 pm. on Thursday, July 11th.

Greater Boroughs Partnership for Health with the Southborough Health Department is offering a Certified Heartsaver CPR/AED class this Thursday at the Southborough Public Safety Building! Register quickly, as spots fill very fast!
The cost is $30 per person and open to anyone 12 years of age or older (as long as they are from one of the eligible towns, which includes Southborough).
This class is for anyone ages 10+ to learn about “how high-quality CPR improves survival” and how to:
- recognize when someone needs CPR
- perform high-quality CPR for an adult, child, and infant, with help from others
- give effective breaths using mouth-to-mouth or a mask for all age groups
- use an AED on an adult, child, or infant
- help a choking adult, child, or infant
Upon course completion, students will be certified CPR/AED for two years from the date of the class.
