Back-to-School Save-the-Dates (Updated)

Upcoming open houses (before school resumes), Holidays, Half days, and more

Above: I put together info from the public school calendars with a focus on Southborough schools and both high schools.

It’s time to mark your calendars for the new school year.
As parents and students should know by now, school is back in session next week. But some schools have events that take place leading up to it. And it’s not long until holidays and half days begin to pop up.

This year, is the first time the NSBORO district is using Wellness Days as Half Days combined with afternoon Professional Development.

To make it easier for Southborough families with kids in our public schools, especially readers with kids in multiple schools, I’ve put pulled and combined the key dates for Southborough K-8 and Algonquin Regional High School (ARHS) that you may want to enter in your calendars for future planning. I also included Assabet Valley (AVRTHS) as our town’s alternative regional technical high school.

Other than the high schools’ early releases for mid-terms and finals, this should cover all of the half days and days off for the school year..

Thank you for doing this! I would just add that Nov 11th is a day off for Veteran’s Day.
