Last week, multiple Algonquin varsity teams played in scrimmages. One of them, Boys Soccer even played in a jamboree. Now the team will be the first to compete in the official fall season, which kicks off this evening.
This Friday, Gonk Football will finally host its first home game in the new stadium, under the lights. (It could be a good one, since they are playing Nashoba, the only team they shutout last year.)
With the official season underway, the school is promoting its new portal for purchasing tickets. As was true last year, tickets can only be purchased electronically. Sales will now be through Vanco Events for all regular season varsity Football, Soccer, Basketball, and Boys’ Hockey games. Click here to buy tickets. (As of this afternoon’s, links were only posted for tonight’s game and the Friday night Football game. The games scheduled for Saturday have yet to be made available.)
Alternatively, you can purchase a school year pass here for all ARHS home competitions except post-season tournaments and the co-op Girls Hockey program. (The cost is $30 per student or $50 per adult.)
