Tricentennial Committee to make the most of Heritage Day

The booth will offer free totes, historical-themed photo booth, & popcorn, plus raise funds through commemorative bricks, t-shirts, & raffle.

It’s not surprising that the committee working towards holding a big, yearlong celebration of the Town’s upcoming historic milestone will use Southborough’s Heritage Day to raise awareness and funds.

The Tricentennial Committee asked me to promote the reasons residents should seek out their booth on Monday.

The committee announced that the booth will be used to launch their fundraising and promote their plans for 2027.

Anyone who stops by can pick up a free tote bag, some popcorn to munch, a sticker, and take photos in historical costumes. 

While there, members hope you’ll purchase a Tricentennial T-shirt.

Or, you can get a free shirt if you pay to contribute a personalized Commemorative Brick to be installed at Heritage Park. (The bricks will be laid into one of the pathways.)

Southborough Kicks Off Tricentennial Celebration Planning at Heritage Day!

Southborough Tricentennial Committee’s hopes to see everyone at our booth at Heritage Day and discover the exciting events we have in store for 2027, designed to reflect Southborough’s rich history and vibrant community spirit. The Committee is planning a year-long celebration to commemorate the 300th anniversary of Southborough’s incorporation on July 6, 2027.

Heritage Day is also the official launch of the inaugural fundraising effort to celebrate Southborough’s biggest birthday in 300 years! 

Tricentennial Brick flyerPurchase a commemorative personalized brick for yourself, your family, to honor a loved one, or as a memoriam. The donated bricks will become a part of Southborough’s Heritage Park as a lasting tribute, paving the way for generations to come. Anyone who purchases a brick through the end of the Heritage Day Celebration will receive a free Southborough300 T-shirt. Custom Engraved Brick (4″ x 8″ x 2 ¼”) are $300, and Replica Souvenir Mini Brick (1 1/2″ x 3″) are an additional $15.
