Next week, the Southborough Library is resuming virtual, hands on lessons for making international cuisine.
In the free series Cooking with Ploy, participants cook up meals during live zoom sessions led by professional cooking instructor Ploy Khunisorn, owner of Ploy’s Kitchen.
The next lesson will be on making Dim Sum:
Dim Sum is a popular style of Cantonese cuisines that include small dishes that highlight different flavor profiles and cooking techniques. We will make cha shu chicken pastry and vegetables with ginger garlic sauce.
That takes place on Wednesday, November 6th from 6:00 – 7:30 pm.
Participants who sign up for the sessions will receive the recipe and ingredients ahead of time so they can prepare. To register, click here.
Two more sessions planned are planned for future Wednesdays from 6:00 – 7:30 pm this fall:
Great British Baking Chorizo Pot Pie — November 20
Inspired by the TV show’s signature pie challenges, you will learn to make a chorizo pot pie with a from-scratch pie crust.
Japanese Miso Ramen — December 11
Make ramen noodles from scratch, then braise cha shu chicken and make miso broth. Serve with marinated soft-boiled eggs and other toppings.
