Rec Connect winter outings & programs

College Basketball, Cirque du Soleil. Railers Hockey, Bowling, Collage Art, Games, and Adaptive Pickleball

Over the next few months, the Southborough, Northborough, and Shrewsbury Rec Connect program will be holding more adaptive/inclusive programs and outings for residents ages 15/16+ with disabilities. Most of the events allow family, friends and caregivers to join them.

In January through March, sign up for trips to watch performances or sports games and to participate in classes and game play.

The programming partnership between the Recreation departments of the three towns is:

designed for participants with disabilities and their families and friends to come together and build meaningful relationships while enjoying recreational opportunities, leisure activities, events and community outings.

Registration for most of the “Rec Connect” programs is conducted through Shrewsbury’s website. (That means you’ll need to create a profile on their system.) But all of the programs are also listed on Southborough Rec’s website.

Earlier this year, I shared info on the events lined up through December. [Editor’s Note: Next week’s Holiday Gift Crafternoon is full and the other December event was pushed to January.] Here are the highlights on the next round of programs being offered:
