- Live Music with Soul Shaker (8:00 – 11:00pm) @ Owen O’Leary’s, 50 Turnpike Rd: Rock and Blues band Soul Shaker will perform.

- Learn to Laser Cut (11:00 am – 12:00 pm) @ Southborough Library Teen Room: Free library event for students in grades 6-12. Learn how to make holiday and winter themed charms, pendants, and key chains and go home with your own creation. Click here to register.
- Sit & Knit (2:00 – 4:00 pm) @ Southborough Library: Semi-monthly program for ages 18+ to drop in and work on your latest knitting or crochet projects while you enjoy the company of fellow yarn crafters in a relaxed social setting. All levels are welcome but no formal instruction will be given.

- St. Anne’s Lessons and Carols (11:30 am) @ St. Anne’s Church, 20 Boston Rd: The service of Lessons and Carols will take place after the 10:30 am mass in the main church.
- Interboro Community Band Winter Concert (2:00 pm) @ Westborough High School, 90 W Main St: A free symphonic concert for the public featuring “Seasonal Favorites & Other Music from the Symphonic Band Repertoire”. For details, see dedicated post.
- AVM Messiah Sing (3:30 pm) @ Congregational Church of Westborough: Assabet Valley Mastersingers regional chorus will perform the Christmas portion of Handel’s oratorio and the “Hallelujah Chorus” with audience participation and organ accompaniment. For details, see related post.
- DIY Workshop: Holiday Chalkboard Box Centerpiece (4:00 – 5:00pm) @ Gulbankian Florist, 40 Mt Vickery Rd: There is a registration fee and attendance is limited. For details, see related post.
- St. Mark’s School’s Lessons and Carols (5:00 – 6:30 pm) @ Belmont Chapel, St. Mark’s School: The public is invited to attend the annual Service of Nine Lessons and Carols for Christmas. For details, see dedicated post.

- Walking Group for Seniors (8:30 am) @ Trottier Middle School’s outdoor track: Free weekly walking group organized by the Southborough Senior Center. Walkers generally go for an hour, but continue for as long as you wish. The location is a loop, so feel free to join late.
- Preschool Story Time (10:30 – 11:15 am) @ Southborough Library Children’s Room: Ages 2-5 are invited for stories and a craft based on a weekly theme. No registration required. For details, see related post.
- Half Day for AVRTHS: Assabet Valley Regional Technical High School has Professional Development Day – early dismissal for students
- Knitting Club (1:00 pm) @ Southborough Senior Center: Social knitting group — scheduled to meet weekly this summer. Beginners are welcome and supplies will be provided, though you can also bring your own and “any creation you are working on”.

Coffee will be served at 8:15, and breakfast starts at 8:30. Jim Duncan will accompany on piano as attendees sing over pancakes and eggs and bacon.
- Winter Solstice Walk (4:30 – 6:00 pm) @ Chestnut Hill Farm: A gathering in the Deerfoot Barn followed by a stroll in the dark, a solstice story at the firepit, and reflecting on wishes for the next year. Pre-registration (and fee) required. For details, see event page.
