Former Southborough resident, children’s author Susan Lubner, is returning to the Southborough Library for another cozy story time event over winter break.
Lubner will read from her book “Drag and Rex: Forever Friends“. Based on the publisher’s description, it’s a short, illustrated chapter book appropriate for beginning readers:
Meet Drag and Rex, the sweet, silly best friends who find joy and adventure in the simplest places in this charming and cheery modern Frog and Toad. . .
Forever Friends features three stories told in short chapters, accompanied by bright, joy-filled full color illustrations, allowing developing readers to gain confidence and a sense of accomplishment as they follow the adventures of their new forever friends.
Copies of the book will be available for purchase and signing.
After the story, kids can also enjoy hot chocolate and a craft activity.
The event takes place on Saturday, December 28th from 11:00 – 11:45 am on the Library’s main floor.
Lubner is also author of picture books Ruthie Bon Bair, Do Not Go to Bed with Wringing Wet Hair and A Horse’s Tale, plus co-author of Noises at Night. In addition, she has written the children’s novels Lizzy and the Good Luck Girl and The Upside of Ordinary.
