Last week, I wrote about signing up for kids to be screened to take part in Northborough-Southborough’s integrated preschool at Finn School next fall. Now the program has announced that they will be holding an Open House for parents to learn more about the program.
The district is inviting Northborough and Southborough parents of kids who will be preschool age in the 2025-2026 school year:
We will be talking about our curriculums, daily schedules and you will have the opportunity to view our classrooms. We look forward to you joining us!
The event will take place at Finn School (60 Richards Road), where the program is run. The meeting will begin in the cafeteria at 9:30 am on Thursday, January 9th.
As I previously explained, the district’s Pre-K program brings together students with special needs, dual language learners, and “typically developing general education children”. Each year, general education children are screened on a designated day in January for potential inclusion in the program.
For the ’25-’26 school year, that date is the week after the open house — Friday, January 17th. You can read more about the program and scheduling a screening here.
