Abigail (Porter) Egan, 96, of Southborough; formerly of Needham and Roslindale, died Monday, December 16, 2024, in Southborough.
She was the daughter of the late George and Kathleen (MacCallum) Porter and wife of the late Eugene Charles Egan, who died in 1998. She was predeceased by her son, Eugene Michael Egan and her siblings, Raymond Porter, Georgina Porter, Kathleen Madden, Edward Porter, William Porter and Kevin Porter.
Abigail is survived by her sons, Edward “Ned” Egan of Dover and Raymond J. Egan of Walpole, her daughter, Deirdre A. Egan and her husband Robert Lagasse of Southborough and her sister Sheila Porter. She is also survived by her grandchildren, Kathryn Doebler, Sean Egan, Benjamin Lagasse, Nicholas Lagasse, Deanna Lagasse, Victoria Lagasse and Isabelle Lagasse and her great grandchild, Archer Braun Doebler.
Visiting hours for Abigail will be held on Sunday, December 22, 2024, from 3:00-5:00PM at the Morris-Johnston Funeral Home, 40 Main St., Southborough, MA 01772. A funeral Mass will be celebrated on Monday, December 23, 2024, at 11:00AM at St. Matthew Church, 105 Southville Rd., Southborough, MA 01772. Burial will follow at Milton Cemetery, 211 Centre St., Milton, MA 02186.
