Southborough Youth & Family Services has asked me to remind the community about an important survey promoted in the fall.
If you are a Southborough (or Northborough) parent/caregiver who hasn’t yet completed the anonymous Encompass Survey, please take a few minutes to provide your input related to alcohol and drugs.
Encompass is the substance use prevention coalition for the two towns. They explain that the survey’s purpose:
is to assess what parents think about youth substance use and be able to create meaningful and effective prevention strategies with their input in mind.
Encompass will use this data to determine priorities, raise awareness, and support local programs and policies to address substance use. A goal of the coalition is to aid parents & caregivers like yourself so that you are able to support youth in healthy and informed decisions.
To get as much community participation as possible, they are offering surveys in alternative languages including English, Chinese, Haitian, Hindi, Portuguese, Punjabi, and Spanish.
To complete the survey, click here. (It was meant to be closed at the end of December. But they have extended that due to the low participation. Hopefully, now that the holidays are past, parents can find the time!)
