  • Trottier Musical: Beauty & The Beast Jr (7:00 – 8:00 pm) @ Trottier Middle School auditorium, 49 Parkerville Rd: Trottier students are performing the junior version of the musical tonight and tomorrow. Tickets must be purchased online. For details, see dedicated post.
  • Live Music with MDM Project (8:00 pm) @ Owen O’Leary’s, 50 Turnpike Rd: The classic rock acoustic style band will perform classic rock to one hit wonders, and more. For details, see Facebook event.

  • Finding Fungi Hike (1:00 – 2:30 pm) @ Chestnut Hill Farm: Guided, educational hike teaching about mushrooms’ role in the ecosystem, plus tips for locating and identifying fungi. Pre-registration (and fee) required. For details, see dedicated post.
  • Trottier Musical: Beauty & The Beast Jr (2:00 – 3:00 pm) @ Trottier Middle School auditorium, 49 Parkerville Rd: Trottier students’ final performance of the junior version of the musical tonight and tomorrow. Tickets must be purchased online. For details, see dedicated post.
  • Sit & Knit (2:00 – 4:00 pm) @ Southborough Library: Semi-monthly program for ages 18+ to drop in and work on your latest knitting or crochet projects while you enjoy the company of fellow yarn crafters in a relaxed social setting. All levels are welcome but no formal instruction will be given.

  • Dancers Unite (12:00 pm) @ Algonquin Regional High School auditorium: This performance put on by Rhythm Dance Company will raise funds for ARHS Best Buddies Chapter. For details, see dedicated post.
  • St. Mark’s Messy Church (4:00 – 6:00 pm) @ St Mark’s Episcopal Church Parish Hall, 27 Main St: A worship experience for busy families of younger kids. Includes a Bible story theme with activities, crafts, and a shared meal. For details, see related post.

  • Walking Group for Seniors (8:30 am) @ Trottier Middle School’s outdoor track: Free weekly walking group organized by the Southborough Senior Center. Walkers generally go for an hour, but continue for as long as you wish. The location is a loop, so feel free to join late.
  • Preschool Story Time (10:30 – 11:15 am) @ Southborough Library Children’s Room: Ages 2-5 are invited for stories and a craft based on a weekly theme. No registration required. For details, see related post.
  • Knitting Club & Quilting Club (1:00 pm) @ Southborough Senior Center: Opportunity for seniors to work on their knitting and quilting projects in a social setting — scheduled to meet weekly.
  • Therapy Dog (4:00 – 5:00 pm) @ Southborough Library, Eaton Meeting Room: Destress and relax by spending some time with a certified therapy dog. For all ages. For details, see dedicated post.
  • KoC Free Throw Championship (6:00 – 8:00pm) @ Trottier Middle School gym: The Knights of Columbus will be holding their annual free-throw competition for 9-14 year-old boys and girls with potential advancement to regional and state competitions. For details, see dedicated post.
  • NSBORO Superintendent Office Hours (6:30 – 7:30 pm) @ Algonquin Regional High School: A drop-in opportunity “for parents and guardians to connect with the Superintendent about questions, feedback, or concerns about their student or their experience with The Public Schools of Northborough and Southborough.”

  • Bridge (12:00 pm) @ Southborough Senior Center: A weekly card group, welcoming new participants. For details, contact the Senior Center at 508-229-4453.
  • Virtual Author Talk (1:00 – 2:30 pm) @ online: Registration is required to take part in the free live talk with Q&A, “An Inside Look at Working with a Literary Agent: A Conversation with Seth Fishman”. This is part of the Southborough Library’s virtual series featuring bestselling, award-winning, and highly acclaimed authors from around the world. For details, see related post.
  • TLT: Duffel Bags (5:00 – 6:00) @ Southborough Library Main Floor: description. The library holds a monthly Teen Library Team volunteer program for ages 10-18 to make projects for others in need. This month volunteers will make Sweet Cases” for local youth in foster care. For details, see dedicated post.
  • Poetry Workshop (6:30 – 8:30 pm) @ Southborough Library, main level: Bring in five copies of original poetry to share. The group will provide supportive feedback. If you don’t have a poem, come anyway and share your insights. (Meets twice monthly.)
  • Tri-M Induction (7:00 pm) @ Algonquin Regional High School: Annual induction ceremony for new members of the ARHS honors music program.
  • Geeks Who Drink Trivia Night (8:00 – 10:00 pm) @ Owen O’Leary’s, 50 Turnpike Rd: Weekly Trivia game night with prizes. For details, see dedicated post.

  • Walking Group for Seniors (8:30 am) @ Southborough cemetery, 11 Cordaville Road: Free weekly walking group organized by the Southborough Senior Center. Walkers generally go for an hour, but continue for as long as you wish. The location is a loop, so feel free to join late.
  • NSBORO Early Release: Northborough-Southborough public schools’ Wellness Day is an early dismissal for students (and Professional Development afternoon for teachers.) This one was chosen to fall on Lunar New Year’s. (Dismissal times by schools are ARHS at 11:06 am, Trottier at 10:50 am, Neary at 11:50 am, Woodward at 12:05 pm, and Finn K-1 at 12:20 pm and Pre-K at 11:00 am.)
  • Fun Day at Apex (11:00 am – 4:00 pm) @ Apex Entertainment Marlborough, 21 Apex Dr, Marlborough: Trottier SOS fundraiser promoted as “Southborough Schools Fun Day”. For details, see dedicated post.
  • Mooyah ARHS SwimARHS Swim & Dive Mooyah Fundraiser (12:00 – 9:00 pm) @ MOOYAH Burgers, Northborough: Algonquin Athletic Booster fundraiser to support to purchase required equipment for ARHS Swim & Dive team and healthy snacks prior to swim events.   • CPR Certification training (7:00 – 8:30pm) @ Fitness Together, 21 G, Turnpike Rd: Receive CPR training and certification through this $55 course that is open to the public. For details and to RSVP, see Facebook event.

  • Baby/Toddler Storytime (11:00 – 11:45 am) @ Southborough Library Children’s Room: A weekly program for ages 0-2 years with their parents/caregivers. Each session will include puppets and music. No registration required. For details, see related post.

  • ARHS Junior College Planning Night (6:30 – 7:30 pm) @ webinar: Annual presentation by Algonquin’s Guidance Department for parents of ARHS juniors about the college application planning process. (Parents should check their email for a link the day prior.)
