Monthly Therapy Dog Sessions at the Library

Above: If anxiety has you in distress, let a trained therapy dog help you “destress” for up to an hour at the library each month. (images cropped from flyer)

If cuddling with a canine brings you and/or your kids joy and you don’t have one of your own, you may want to mark your calendar.

The Southborough Library has posted a monthly schedule for drop-in sessions with a Therapy Dog. The opportunity is available for all ages.

The next opportunity to lower your blood pressure is next week.

The sessions are on the fourth Monday of each month from 4:00 – 5:00 pm in the Eaton Meeting Room downstairs.

Therapy Dog Jan 2025 flyerThe Library invites the public to take advantage of the special hour to destress and relax with a very good girl:

Come by and have a visit with Julie and her trained therapy dog Glory! Visitors can stay for as long as they like. This is open to children, teens, and adults!

The schedule planned* for the next few months is:

  • January 27th
  • February 24th
  • March 24th
  • and April 28th

No registration is required for the free event.

*To avoid unnecessary stress, I would double check the library events calendar a day or two before each session to make sure there weren’t any schedule changes! You can find that here.
