This evening, the Northborough-Southborough Schools announced that school is cancelled tomorrow, Thursday, February 6th.
That means the Southborough Senior Center will also be closed.
The cancellation is due to the messy forecast during normal school transportation hours.
Southborough is projected to get only 2-3″ of snow, but accompanied by some ice. The National Weather Service is forecasting a changing mix of snow, rain, freezing rain, and sleet from around 8:00 am to 5:00 pm.
This is the first cancellation of this school year. That moves the first potential last day of school to Tuesday, June 17th.
Updated (2/6/25 9:43 am): The Southborough Library announced that it is closed today.
