Library invites tweens/teens “Game” to play games to join them over break

Recently, I posted about a new monthly “meet up” at the Southborough Library for people ages 9+ who enjoy playing games without screens. Next week, they will be holding a special, extended version to entertain teens/tweens over the school break..

The Library invites:

Join fellow gamers for a casual meet up of fellow players of board games and chess. Novice and experienced players welcome. Drop-in, no registration required. For ages 9 and up.

Unfortunately, the February 6th launch for the activity was cancelled due to last week’s snow storm. But the library has scheduled a five hour window next week.

Gamers are invited to to drop-in to play between 1:00 – 6:00 pm on Thursday, February 20th.

All of the sessions will take place on the library’s main floor. The future monthly gatherings will be held on on the second Thursday of the month, from 3:00 – 5:00 pm, March through May.
