Recently, Southborough Recreation opened up summer camp registration. And, as I posted earlier today, registration for the next round of Recreation After-School Programs (RAP) is closing soon.
For some families the programs may seem like luxuries they can’t afford. Southborough Youth & Family Services wants to help. The agency is encouraging Southborough residents who qualify to apply for Financial Assistance.
The application form is the same one the agency also uses to help support families each winter through the Winter Wishes program.
The Town asked me to help promote the Financial Assistance program. The flyer explains:
Eligibility is based on Southborough Residency & Evidence of Need. . .
NOTE: You will be required to provide supporting documentation. Accepted documents are outlined in the financial assistance application. Your application can be submitted securely through DocuSign or by dropping hard copies off to the SYFS office located at 21 Highland Street.
