Chance to win 4 Celtics Tickets (while supporting Southborough families)(Updated Again)

Friends of Southborough Youth Commission is again raffling off donated tickets to a Celtics game.

The Friends of the Southborough Youth Commission are raffling off four tickets to an upcoming Celtics home game vs the Nets.

The group is promoting that “chances” at winning the ticket can be purchased by donating to their non-profit.

FSYC is the tax deductible charity that supports work of Southborough’s Youth & Family Services department.

Good works FSYC helps raise funds for each year include the Winter Wishes program (helping families in need in early winter, leading up to the holidays) and camp scholarships for Southborough kids in the summer.

In fall 2023, the charity received the Celtics tickets from a generous anonymous donor for a Nets game. They made the most of the donation to help fund their causes. It looks like that effort was a success, because they’re repeating the fundraiser this season!

They asked me to help promote the raffle. (In addition to entering the raffle, readers can help support them by spreading the word to friends or through social media.)

Donations must be received by March 9th with winners announced by March 10th for the March 18th game.1

Since they aren’t selling physical tickets, the number of “chances” for winning the tickets are based on the size of the donation:

1 Chance for $50

3 Chances for $100

8 Chances for $250

20 Chances for $500

To enter the raffle, donations must be made through Venmo. Make out payments to @FriendsSYC or use the QR code in the flyer above right.

The game that a lucky winner will get to attend with friends/family members is on a Sunday night at 7:30 pm in TD Garden. (For seat details, see the flyer.)

Updated (3/3/25 4:54 pm) The deadline to participate was originally March 5th, but was extended to March 9th.

Updated (3/4/25 1:40 pm): Organizers corrected a typo in the flyer that had caused me to initially specify the wrong date. The game is actually scheduled for March 18th (Not the 13th) which is a Sunday.

  1. The fundraiser timeline was extended and a typo in the date in the flyer corrected.
