  • Live Music with Ready to Go (8:00 pm) @ Owen O’Leary’s, 50 Turnpike Rd: The band will perform “uptempo dance-able covers range from Classic Rock (Stones, Skynyrd, Petty)”. For details, see Facebook event.

  • Neary Building Committee Office Hours (8:30 – 9:30am) @ Public Safety Building: The committee will hold “office hours” to talk about the school building project with members of the public. For details, see dedicated post.
  • Event is full — Painting With Julie (11:00 am  – 12:00 pm) @ Southborough Library: Capacity was limited for this free program sponsored by The Friends of the Southborough Library for kids ages 8-12. For details, see dedicated post.
  • Community Creativity (1:00 – 4:00 pm) @ Apothecary Artists, 11 Main St: Drop in with your creative project and be social during the open studio hours. For details, see dedicated post.
  • Safe Spaces Community Gatherings (6:00 – 8:00 pm) @ St Mark’s Episcopal Church parish hall, 27 Main St: The gathering is “for anyone who wants to support LGBTQ+ youth or simply be part of a community that champions the health and well-being of LGBTQ+ people.” For details, see related post and Facebook event.

  • Walking Group for Seniors (8:30 am) @ Trottier Middle School’s outdoor track: Free weekly walking group organized by the Southborough Senior Center. Walkers generally go for an hour, but continue for as long as you wish. The location is a loop, so feel free to join late.
  • Senior Center Program Registration (10:00 am – 3:00 pm): Pre-registration opens for March and April programs at or through the Southborough Senior Center. For details, see dedicated post.
  • Library Seed Exchange launch (10:00 am – 5:00 pm) @ Southborough Library: The 2025 seed exchange program opens today. Choose vegetable, herb and/or flower seed packets from the repurposed card catalogue to plant in your home garden. For details, see library website.
  • Preschool Story Time (10:30 – 11:15 am) @ Southborough Library Children’s Room: Ages 2-5 are invited for stories and a craft based on a weekly theme. No registration required. For details, see related post.
  • Knitting Club & Quilting Club (1:00 pm) @ Southborough Senior Center: Weekly drop-in session for senior crafters to work on their knitting and quilting projects in a social setting. Chat with others and share ideas while quilting, knitting, sewing, cross stitching, needle point, etc.

  • Preschool Story Time (10:30 – 11:15 am) @ Southborough Library Children’s Room: Ages 2-5 are invited for stories and a craft based on a weekly theme. No registration required. For details, see related post.
  • Bridge (12:00 pm) @ Southborough Senior Center: A weekly card group, welcoming new participants. For details, contact the Senior Center at 508-229-4453.
  • Cook Book Club (6:30 – 8:30 pm) @ Southborough Library, main floor: This month, select recipes from Everyday Delicious by Rocco Dispirito to make, then share at the gathering.   • Elder Law Advice (10:00 – 10:45 am) @ phone or zoom: Southborough seniors can sign up for a free 15 minute session of individualized legal advice from an Elder Law attorney. For details, see the Senior Center’s newsletter, p. 9.
  • Southborough Rotary Club (7:00 – 8:00 pm) @ Southborough Library, main floor: Regular meeting of the Rotary Club of Southborough. New and prospective members are always welcome. (Held on the 1st & 3rd Wednesdays of the month.)
  • Friends of the Southborough Library (7:30 – 8:45 pm) @ where: Monthly meeting to discuss funding library programs and planning for upcoming fundraisers.   • Baby/Toddler Storytime (11:00 – 11:45 am) @ Southborough Library Children’s Room: A weekly program for ages 0-2 years with their parents/caregivers. Each session will include puppets and music. No registration required. For details, see related post.
  • Young Scientists STEM Beginnings (1:15 – 2:00 pm) @ Southborough Library: This is a free series for children, ages 3-6 to learn STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math) concepts through hands-on activities, story time and simple experiments. For details, see dedicated post.
  • Drop in Legos (3:30 – 4:30 pm) @ Southborough Library, Eaton Meeting Room: Children are invited to build with Legos and display their creations in the Children’s Room. Legos will be provided. Parents or caregivers must stay with children.
  • Neary’s “A Night of Songs” (7:00 pm) @ Trottier Middle School auditorium: A concert by Neary schools’ student choruses.

  • Sit & Knit (2:00 – 4:00 pm) @ Southborough Library: Semi-monthly program for ages 18+ to drop in and work on your latest knitting or crochet projects while you enjoy the company of fellow yarn crafters in a relaxed social setting. All levels are welcome but no formal instruction will be given.
  • Jungle Book Kids (11:00 – 11:35 am and 2:00 – 2:35 pm) @ Trottier Middle School auditorium: The annual musical by Neary students through the Rec after school program run by Skyrise Theater. For details, see dedicated post.
