5th annual Library Seed Exchange is open

This week, the Southborough Library launched its annual opportunity to borrow seeds to grow vegetables, herbs, and/or flowers.

Unlike other items the library lends, patrons aren’t expected to return them. But, organizers hope you’ll pay them back in kind through a future “Seed Exchange”.

The concept is that at the end of the growing season, participants will harvest and save seeds, and donate those to the library to be used by others the following season.

The 5th annual program is sponsored by The Friends of the Southborough Library.
