Southborough’s Knights of Columbus shared news out of the K of C International Free Throw Competitions.
Two residents won the state championships for their age and gender groups last weekend.
As I previously posted, four residents made it to through the District Competition this year. On Saturday, Alyssa Wilson (Age 11) and Jax Lachiatto (Age 9) won their competitions at the state event.
I’m told that Wilson scored over 20 buckets. And after more than 20 freethrows, Lachiatto was in a shoot off where he sunk 5 for 5.

The kids’ won’t move on to shoot in another competition. But they could still score a higher honor. Their scores from Saturday’s event will be submitted to K of C International. The highest scorers from all of the international competitions will then be announced later this spring.
