Above: There are many options in town for readers looking to attend special Easter Services. (images edited from church websites and social media)
For many readers, Easter is about more than bunnies and baskets filled with candy.
I’m sharing details below on special services the churches in town are holding this week through Easter Sunday (April 20th).
Almost all of the parishes promote the United Parishes of Southborough’s annual Easter Sunrise Service. That takes place at Hopkinton State Park in the marina area at 6:30 am.
(The backup location in inclement weather is at First Community Church, 137 Southville Road.)
(For those unfamiliar, the United Parishes is a charitable religious organization serving the Southborough community that is through a partnership between First Community Church, Pilgrim Church, St. Anne Church, St. Mark, and St. Matthew Church.)
Now here is the information that each Southborough church has posted/shared about their individual services and celebrations over Holy Week.
