Cuddle baby goats and Meet the Farmer – Saturday

Chestnut Hill Farm’s monthly Meet the Farmer events are back on for the season. On the first Saturday of the month, the farm hosts a special event to welcome in the community.

This weekend is the first in June. So, that means, there’s some fun in store on the farm.

Speaking of “in store”, while you’re there, they hope you’ll check out the Farmstand. It’s now open on Saturdays from 9:00 am – 2:00 pm.

But, this Saturday, you’ll want to head to the farm specifically between 10:00 am to noon so as not to miss out on the chance to cuddle some cute kids. (The hooved kind.)

baby goats at the farm (contributed)I have to be honest. Cuddling a goat never sounded appealing to me. But the pictures have me convinced that it’s too cute to miss.

Here’s the invitation for this Saturday:

Meet the Farmer: Baby Goats Cuddle Party!

This free event was so popular last year, we brought it back! Come to Chestnut Hill Farm and bring your kids to cuddle with our kids — that is, our sweet baby goats — from 10am to noon on Saturday, June 2. Our kid goats will be ready and waiting for some snuggles and play time. Be sure to bring your cameras to get some adorable goat selfies (“gelfies!”). Don’t miss this chance to play with our little ones; they won’t be little for much longer!

While you’re visiting the farm…
Check out the farm stand for spring veggies, gorgeous plants for your veggie and flower gardens, local honey, maple syrup, jams, and more
Chat with Farmer Desiree and her crew about our CSA and vegetable operations
Feel free to bring a picnic lunch to enjoy right on our beautiful farm!

Hi Janice! Sorry I’m just replying – I’m just seeing your comment now.

The farm stand at Chestnut Hill Farm is now open:

Tuesday, Thursday & Friday: 2PM-6PM
Saturday: 9AM-2PM

This week there are lots of delicious spring greens, radishes, herbs, and maybe some strawberries, though this heat is giving them a tough time. Also in the store: local honey, maple syrup, jams, BBQ rubs, and more.

We look forward to seeing you!
