I have to admit that I’ve never been to a Steeple Coffeehouse show. It’s something I will endeavor to correct during their 2009-2010 schedule, the start of which was recently posted.
For those of you who don’t know, the Steeple Coffeehouse attracts performers well-known on the blues and folk circuit. They host shows monthly – usually on the second Saturday of the month – in Pilgrim Church’s Fellowship Hall which is transformed for an evening into a coffeehouse.
The group is a non-profit, and proceeds from all shows benefit various local and regional charities.
The first show of the season will be on October 10, and will feature repeat performers Blackstone Valley Bluegrass. You can get more details on the Steeple Coffeehouse website (www.steeplecoffeehouse.org).
The Blackstone Valley Bluegrass is our favorite Coffeehouse group.
