Updated (1/7/19 1:27 pm): I fixed the link for the School Committee agenda. Following up on a commenter’s question, here is a link to the presentation made in December for the recommended budget. (I haven’t had a chance to view the discussion to see if it was approved as presented or any changes were made.)
Agenda link for School Committee does not appear to work.
Also, is the approved budget published anywhere? Is this for current year (the one approved at TM)?
Thanks!
Thanks for letting me know about the link issue. I’ll fix that. The budget I refer to is the one for the school year 2019-20. I was surprised by the language which indicates it is already approved. I assume that it was voted on in the December meeting – and I haven’t had a chance to go back and watch the presentation and discussion yet. I did find for you the presentation materials for the recommended budget presented at the December meeting: https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/14c1XIZEG6W5Wc1pBzZE7JdQAjRcIeW-H
I thought the last BOS meeting ended with a discussion about a follow-up BOS meeting to be scheduled on 1/10 to review desired budget levels with the various town departments.
Surprised to not see it listed here or on town web site. Maybe the information won’t be ready?
or maybe I misunderstood and that wouldn’t be a publicly posted meeting?
That is my recollection as well. But, they still have until sometime tomorrow to post an agenda. (Longer, if there is a schedule change I’m not aware of.)
I don’t believe this could be covered by Executive Session. I’m confident it will be a public meeting. But even closed meetings for Executive Sessions have to be posted, just sometimes the topic is vague/undefined.
