I’m overdue on sharing news, but what else is new? This month, Algonquin wasn’t the only high school with Southborough graduates.
Assabet Valley Regional Technical High School held its ceremony the same weekend as Algonquin’s. And St. Mark’s School held its the following week. Plus, since my ARHS post, the Harbinger posted its senior issue.
I’ve rounded up highlights to share:
Assabet Class of 2019
The Community Advocate posted two articles on the school’s grads. One focused on the school’s nursing program graduate:
The seniors in the Health Technology program at Assabet Valley Regional Technical High had a 100 percent passing rate on the recent Certified Nursing Assistant exam. (read more)
Twin graduates from the school made a splash in the press due to their status as Valedictorian and Salutatorian. For the Patch’s coverage of the ceremony, click here.

St. Mark’s Class of 2019
St. Mark’s School posted:

Diplomas with distinction were awarded to 57 graduates, 18 were members of the Cum Laude Society, and 10 earned Classics Diplomas, having mastered both Greek and Latin, entitling each to wear a laurel wreath at the ceremony. Alumnus Kevin Tang ’85 delivered the keynote Prize Day address, while graduating VI Former Colin Capenito was the traditional Valedictorian.
