This summer, I posted an announcement about a Holiday House Tour planned for this fall. At that time, organizers’ focus was recruiting participants to show off their homes’ holiday decor. It looks like they were successful in lining up six homes.
The Southborough Holiday House Tour will also include enjoying refreshments and a raffle at the Historical Museum. But the biggest draw may be the chance to go inside the recently restored Burnett House stone chapel.
As for the title attraction, the Facebook event pitches:
Take a tour of some of Southborough’s finest homes, decorated for the holiday season. This is your chance to be inspired by great design and decor and get you into a festive mood!
The event is a fundraiser for the Southborough Historical Society. Their website details that the tour will also include:
live demonstrations throughout the day of essential holiday skills such as making your own deluxe ribbons for pennies
All proceeds will benefit SHS’s preservation efforts.
Tickets are being sold for $30 in the downtown store At Number 10 (which is actually at number 3 Main Street). Store hours are:
Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Fridays 11:00 am – 4:00 pm
Thursdays 11:00 am – 5:00 pm
