This weekend is a holiday-palooza, with Christmas/seasonal parties, concerts, sales and activities, including the annual fly in by jolly old St. Nick. Here is a reminder of all that’s happening around town.
This is the first weekend since the Trustees launched this year’s Reindeer Quest for the month of December:
Reindeer Quest (Daily in December, Sunrise to Sunset) @ Chestnut Hill Farm: Free self-guided program. Grab your snow boots and get the family outside to discover our elusive herd of wooden reindeer found throughout the farm trails! See how many you can find and leave a bell around each one’s neck. Girl Scout Holiday Sing-along (6:30 – 7:30 pm) @ Community House Lawn: Event for all families in Southborough with Girl Scouts Kick off your holiday season with an old-fashioned holiday sing-along with some modern touches. Participants are encouraged to bring a gift donation for Just Because. For details, see dedicated post.
Westborough Community Chorus’ Holly Days at Home (8:00 pm) @ Sarah Gibbons Middle School, Westborough: The 75 member chorus (including Southborough members) will perform its 47th Annual Christmas Holiday Show. There will be singing, dancing, a “North Pole” skit, a kids sing-a-long, and a visit from Santa. For details, see dedicated post.

Annual Kids Shop (9:00 am – 2:00 pm) @ Woodward School, cafeteria: An annual Southborough tradition. Boy Scout Troop 92 provides a safe haven for kids to do their own holiday shopping for family members without parents’ prying eyes. Donuts, lunch, and treats will be sold in the lobby “café” area where you can wait. For details, see dedicated post.
Christmas Bazaar (10:00 am – 2:00 pm) @ St. Mark’s Episcopal Church, 27 Main St: Admission is free. Featuring the White Elephant, jewelry, toy, and craft sales, a silent auction, Games of Chance, live music, basket raffle, bake sale, the annual Bargain Box bag sale, and a Kids’ Activity Area. Christmas Tree Decorating Party (10:30 am – 1:00 pm) @ Southborough Library, main level: Be a part of the Library’s annual Christmas Tree Decorating Party. You can make ornaments, decorate the Library Christmas tree, and enjoy refreshments! For details, see dedicated post.
Holiday Book Sale (10:30 am – 1:30 pm) @ Southborough Library, main level: The Friends of the Southborough Library are holding a Holiday Book Sale. One free book per child. Stop on by for a wonderful selection of books! For details, see dedicated post.
Santa Day (12:00 – 3:00 pm) @ St. Mark’s field and Community House: Southborough Kindergroup’s 42nd annual event. See Santa arrive in his helicopter and land on St. Mark’s Field. Then join him at the Community House for holiday fun including a raffle and live music. Kids can enjly crafts, movies, face painting and a chance to share their wishes with Santa while posing for a picture. For details, see dedicated post.

Holiday Farm Fairy Village and Tree Lighting (1:00 – 3:00 pm) @ Chestnut Hill Farm: Kids are invited to build a holiday village for the farm’s fairies and light a tree in a favorite fairy location.
