This afternoon, an email alerted that our schools are in need of more substitute teachers. The email was to Trottier Middle School parents but references a district wide shortage.
The email from Trottier’s Secretary Darlene Scorzelli pitches the opportunity, focusing on the middle school:
These positions are very flexible. A substitute teacher has the choice to be contacted a few times each school year, or as often as several days within a given week. No formal teaching experience is required. For those inclined, this is a great opportunity to get to know the wonderful Trottier faculty, while being in the same building as your child and earning a little extra income.
