Kids have another chance to learn hoop skills from Algonquin’s coaches and players
February break is approaching quickly. So, it’s time to get up to speed on camps and clinics offered that week.
One that I had yet to share is Algonquin Basketball’s clinic. This one is a 4-day program for boys and girls in grades K-8.
The ARHS skills program will be held Monday – Thursday mornings over February Break.
It will be run by head varsity coaches for both the Boys and Girls Algonquin Regional High School teams and staffed by additional coaches and players.
As usual, the “fun” program promises:
- Fundamentals and skills development
- Ball Handling-Shooting-Defense-Teamwork
- 1-1 and small group instruction
- Competitive game conditions (3×3 and 5×5)
The clinic will be held 9:00 am – noon on February 17 through Thursday, February 20. Naturally, it’s being held in the school gym.
The fundraiser for ARHS Basketball costs $100 per child.
