For the second time in as many weeks, a portion of Newton Street north of Southboro Medical is closed for road work. DPW head Karen Galligan said today’s closure is for drainage work. The closure last week was to to tap an existing water main and install a fire hydrant.
Newton Street is expected to reopen by 4:00 pm today.
