- Technical Specialist (part-time)
The Town of Southborough is seeking a highly motivated and skilled individual to fill the PT position of Technical Specialist. The individual shall provide support, including implementation, training and troubleshooting to town departments, including management of Help Desk functions and provide hardware support of end-user equipment, such as installing replacement hardware or upgrading hardware.Must be team oriented, have ability to work independently and possess an expressly confidential nature. The successful candidate will have a High School Diploma or GED, Associates Degree or higher level degree; three years or more of responsible experience in an information technology environment; or an equivalent combination of education and experience. - Police Officer (full-time)
The Southborough Police Department is currently accepting applications for the position of Full-Time Police Officer. Several openings are anticipated over the next six months. Applications can be picked up in person at the Southborough Police Department, 32 Cordaville Road, Southborough, MA or downloaded from www.southboroughpd.com. Features include a commercial level fitness center and training room. The department is Accredited through MPAC. Applicants must meet the following minimum requirements: U.S. citizen; high school graduate (college degree preferred); at least 21 years of age; have a valid driver’s license; able to pass an intensive background check. Full-time police academy training preferred, but not required for ideal candidates. Cadets currently attending a full-time academy are encouraged to apply as well as past applicants.
