The opportunity is not only remote (at least to start) but fills an important need for the public by helping the Town maintain/improve transparency related to public meetings.

Town of Southborough
Recording Clerk (part-time)
The Town of Southborough is seeking applicants for a part time Recording Clerk for various boards and committees. Position is responsible for attending Board meetings [virtually until the Executive Order on size of gatherings is updated] and drafting meeting minutes for review. Other administrative tasks may be assigned on an as needed basis. Successful candidate must be able to attend evening meetings, accurately take notes and transcribe the minutes of the meeting for timely submission. Candidate must be proficient in word processing, able to work independently, and be detail oriented. Experience with the Zoom platform and the Public Records Law is preferred.
