The big weather reports focus on the Gulf Coast where they’re dealing with the destruction caused by Hurricane Laura. But you may also have heard warnings of potential severe weather in our region today. So, I checked the National Weather Service’s latest reports. As of early this afternoon, the “severe” part of warnings appears low risk for our area.
For the worst scenario, a tornado, Southborough is in the only 2% probability swath. For risks of severe winds and large hail, we are in a 15% probability area.
