Tomorrow, the Town of Southborough will be holding flu vaccination clinics for residents 12 years and older. (Don’t forget to bring your insurance ID cards.)
Two sessions will be held on Wednesday, October 13th. Both sessions will be held at the Senior Center, 9 Cordaville Road. Be sure to wear something short sleeved or sleeveless and a face mask.
The Board of Health asked residents to sign up for a time slot in advance. However, at this point they are also announcing that walk-ins will be allowed:
- Only seniors, ages 65+ should attend from 10:00 am – 12:30 pm. High dose vaccines will be available for this age group. (If you are a senior, and can’t make the morning slot, you can attend in the afternoon.)
- 1:30 – 4:30 pm is for anyone ages 12+.

If you are reserving a slot, be sure to select the “Flu Vaccine”. (This clinic isn’t for the Covid vaccine boosters. Click here for those details.)
For those questioning getting a shot, BOH urges, “We encourage everyone to get their flu shot this year to protect from the influenza virus and the complications that can come with it. If you have questions about the flu vaccine or why you should get it, you can contact the Board of Health at 508-281-8983.”
