- Alternative Medicine: Acupuncture & Herbal Medicine (1:00 – 2:00 pm) @ Cordaville Hall, 9 Cordaville Road: Open to all ages (and towns). This free Alternative Medicine session focuses on Acupuncture & Herbal Medicine. Julie Dalbec owner of Marlborough Wellness Center asks “Have you been wondering what acupuncture and herbal medicine is about and how it works? - Book Bugs: Farm Fun for Little Ones (10:00 – 11:00 am) @ Chestnut Hill Farm: Pre-registration (and fee) required. For ages 8 years old to adult. Join us to build a special home for some magical woodland creatures. We’ll go on a hike to collect natural materials then each child can create their own fairy or gnome home. - ARHS – 8th Grade Parent Night (6:30 – 7:45 pm) @ Algonquin Regional High School’s Small Performance (“Black Box”) Theater (Room H125): This is an informational program for parents of 8th graders considering attending Algonquin Regional High School next year. Through the program, attendees will learn about our educational and extra-curricular offerings, meet the ARHS administrative team, and tour the school. Typically, the presentation takes roughly 45 minutes, and the tour takes 25-30 minutes.

- Fay School Farmer’s Market (9:00 am – 12:00 pm) @ Fay School, parking at Brackett House, 31 Main St: The school is featuring a farmer’s market with vendors selling a variety of foods and goods. - Southborough Library’s Halloween Party for Kids (9:00 am – 12:00 pm) @ Fay School, parking at Brackett House, 31 Main St: Fay School will host the Southborough Library’s annual Halloween party at their Farmer’s Market. This is open to all ages, no registration. The event will include Halloween games and crafts, plus: a Halloween story time with Miss Kim at 10 am, a Halloween costume parade at 10:30 am, and Spooky music with Stacey Peasley at 11 am. - Historic Walking Tour: Model Farms and Country Seats (1:00 – 3:00 pm) @ Main Street: Southborough Historical Society is hosting two tours of the Historic Main Street area this month. This one will focus on the development of West Main Street as an area of vast summer estates for Boston’s wealthy elite. Advanced registration is required and limited. - SFA Halloween Parade (3:30 – 4:30 pm) @ Woodward School to the Public Safety Building: Southborough Firefighters Association is happy to announce they are bringing back their annual Halloween Parade and party with costume contest. Marchers are asked to line up at Woodward School. From there they’ll march to the Public Safety Building. For details, see dedicated post.
- Trunk or Treat (4:30 – 6:00 pm) @ Woodward School parking lot: Southborough Recreation is hosting a “Trunk or Treat”. For details, see dedicated post.
- Outdoor Movie Night – Monster’s Inc (6:00 – 7:40 pm) @ Choate Field – in front of Woodward School: Southborough Recreation is putting on an outdoor movie night, screening Monster’s Inc. The movie is rated G. For details, see dedicated post.

- Fall Fun on the Farm (12:00 – 4:30 pm in 90 minute windows) @ Chestnut Hill Farm: Enjoy a classic New England fall day featuring apple cider, hayrides, a climbing haystack, live music, scenic walking trails, a Storywalk, and a visit to see the goats, chickens and sheep.
