The Public Schools of Northborough and Southborough announced a partnership with Mass Insight Education & Research to conduct an “equity audit”. So, what are they seeking to determine? According to a survey intro, Equity means:
Every child gets what they need in our schools – regardless of where they come from, what they look like, who their parents are, what their temperament is, or what they show up knowing or not knowing.
An announcement explained that:
Mass Insight will gather and analyze data and evidence around the ways in which students, families, community members, and staff experience the District’s core values and learning opportunities for ALL students.
As part of the process, they are looking for school families to complete a less than 15 minute, anonymous survey. The deadline to complete it was extended to this Friday, October 29th.
