  • Preschool Story Time (10:30 – 11:15 am) @ Southborough Library Children’s Room: Join Miss Kim for stories and craft based on a weekly theme. No registration required.
  • Wellness Series: Ten Habits to Thrive (7:00 – 8:00 pm) @ zoom: The free Wellness Series for ages 12+ is offered by the Southborough Library and Jill Vroman Fitness & Wellness. This session: The path to success can be ease and flow. Learn 10 habits to thrive by changing your habits and life. For details, see dedicated post.
  • Walking Group for Seniors (8:30 am) @ Trottier Middle School’s outdoor track: Free walking group organized by the Southborough Senior Center, see newsletter. Walkers generally go for an hour, but continue for as long as you wish. The location is a loop, so feel free to join late.

  • Bridge (12:00 pm) @ Southborough Senior Center: A weekly card group, welcoming new participants. For details, contact the Senior Center at 508-229-4453.
  • Parent Support Group (12:30 -1:30 pm) @ South Union Building, 21 Highland St: Join Southborough Youth & Family Services for a space to vent, get good ideas, and decompress before going back to the very important job of parenting. For details, see related post.
  • Knitting Club (1:00 pm) @ Southborough Senior Center: Knitters, welcoming new members. For details, contact the Senior Center at 508-229-4453.
  • Art with Photography for Kids (4:00 – 5:30 pm) @ Apothecary Artists, 1 Boston Rd: Apothecary Artists is offering classes for kids (fee and registration required). This week’s session is for 5th to 8th graders. Using a camera, phone, or any device that takes photos, students will learn to play with will play with lighting, angles, shadows and much more.   • Walking Group for Seniors (8:30 am) @ Southborough cemetery, 11 Cordaville Road: Free walking group organized by the Southborough Senior Center, see newsletter. Walkers generally go for an hour, but continue for as long as you wish. The location is a loop, so feel free to join late.
  • Elder Law Advice (10:00 – 10:45 am) @ phone or zoom: An Elder Law attorney who has given many seminars at the Senior Center will offer Southborough seniors free individualized legal advice during scheduled remote sessions.   • St. Patrick’s Day Goodie Bag Pick Up @ Southborough Senior Center: Seniors can sign up for a time to pickup up a free St. Patrick’s Day Goodie Bag filled with fun things to celebrate the Luck of the Irish. For details, see related post.
  • Learning to Listen with L.O.V.E. (6:00 – 8:00 pm) @ South Union Building, 21 Highland St: Workshop hosted by Southborough Youth & Family Services on the art of communication in relationships. They will  address some of the challenges and review critical elements of successful communication. Registration required. For details see related post.
  • Live Model Drawing Class (6:30 – 8:30 pm) @ Apothecary Artists, 1 Boston Rd: Apothecary Artists is offering classes (fee and registration required). This session: Instructor Patrick Steele; We’ll provide a live model at each session and a skilled, professional artist to instruct (developing artists) or critique (experienced artists).   • Young Scientists STEM Beginnings (10:30 – 11:15 am) @ zoom: A free virtual series for children, ages 3-6 to learn STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math) concepts through hands-on activities, story time and simple experiments. The program through the Southborough Library is sponsored by the YMCA Family & Community Partnership.
