Southborough has again teamed up with Northborough to put on Booster Clinics for eligible residents. Pre-registration is required.

The first Clinic is this Friday morning, April 8th from 9:30 am to noon. Another one is offered two weeks later on April 22nd, before school resumes following spring break. The clinics are held at the Northborough Senior Center, 119 Bearfoot Road.

Separate registration links are posted depending on which vaccine you choose to take:

The clinics follow up on recently announced eligibility for some people to get a 2nd booster shot:

All residents aged 50 and older or individuals who are younger with certain medical conditions may now access a second COVID-19 booster. On March 29th, the CDC recommended that certain immunocompromised individuals and all individuals over the age of 50 get an additional booster dose at least 4 months after their first booster. CDC recommendations allow for mixing and matching of different COVID-19 booster doses, and eligible individuals may choose which vaccine they receive as a booster dose. For more information on eligibility, visit www.mass.gov/vaccine

It’s also a chance to boost the share of residents with their 1st Booster shot (for ages 12+).

Anyone with questions about booster recommendations is asked to contact their primary care provider for advice.
