- Native Garden Tours (10:00 am and 11:00 am) @ Southborough Library and Beals Preserve: The Open Space Preservation Commission will lead tours through two of its native gardens. The gardens are planted with species identified as important to supporting at-risk native pollinators. The tour begins at the Library then moves over to Beals Preserve. - Cook Book Club (1:00 – 2:00 pm) @ Southborough Library’s Lawn: You can select a dish from The Milk Street Cookbook and bring it to be enjoyed with others. Please email your selected dish to Marianna at msorensen@southboroughma.com. New participants encouraged and all ages and partners welcome. For details, see dedicated post.

- Walking Group for Seniors (8:30 am) @ Trottier Middle School’s outdoor track: Free walking group organized by the Southborough Senior Center, see newsletter. Walkers generally go for an hour, but continue for as long as you wish. The location is a loop, so feel free to join late.
- Stretch Break Class for seniors (10:15 am) @ Southborough Senior Center: For details on weekly class, see newsletter.
- Bereavement Group (1:00 – 2: 00 pm) @ Southborough Senior Center: The Bereavement Group is a monthly support group is for ages 50 and older. To sign up to join the group, please call Leslie Chamberlin, R.N. at 508-229-4453.
- Youth Writing Club Reception (3:30 -4:30 pm) @ Southborough Library, Teen Room: A reception for young writers who participated in the virtual club this spring. They can meet up and show off their writing. Snacks and a positive atmosphere will be provided. Club member’s written pieces (with or without illustration) will be left at the library for patrons to peruse in the Children’s Room in the following month.

- Advanced Tai Chi for seniors (9:45 am) @ zoom: Pre-registration required. For details on semi-weekly class, see newsletter.
- Puppet Show with Tom Knight (11:00 – 11:45 am) @ Southborough Library Lawn: Tom will entertain with music and puppetry. This event is open to all families with children age 2-8 years and siblings. Registration is required. For details, see related post.
- Bridge (12:00 pm) @ Southborough Senior Center: A weekly card group, welcoming new participants. For details, contact the Senior Center at 508-229-4453.
- Knitting Club (1:00 pm) @ Southborough Senior Center: Knitters, welcoming new members. For details, contact the Senior Center at 508-229-4453.
- Tuesday Tech Time (4:00 – 5:00 pm) @ Southborough Library Teen Room: Need help with technology? Library staff and teen volunteers will make every effort to assist you. Bring questions about ebooks and electronic resources. This is a drop in event; no registrations necessary. Sessions are limited to no more than 1 hour.
- Poetry Workshop (6:30 – 8:30 pm) @ Southborough Library: Participants are asked to bring in five copies of their original poetry and distribute them to the group. Someone will read the poem and the group will provide supportive feedback. (If you don’t have a poem, come anyway! We are always interested in your insights.)

- Crafternoon: Creative Journaling (4:00 – 5:00 pm) @ Southborough Library, Main Floor: For ages 8+. Pre-registration is required and attendance limited. Using multi-media supplies and prompts, kids can begin a journal to use at home, with the theme of acknowledging gratitude in their lives. For details, see related post.
- Southborough Summer Concert Series (6:00 – 8:00 pm) @ Neary School outdoor stage by the tennis courts, 53 Parkerville Road: Southborough Recreation’s Free family friendly concerts with lawn games. Interact clubs bring together young people ages 12-18 to develop leadership skills while discovering the power of Service Above Self. Find out how serious leadership can be seriously fun.

- Dull Men’s Club (10:00 am) @ zoom: Casual social club for senior men. New members are always welcome to drop in. For details, see dedicated post.
- Fourth of July Parade (11:00 am – 12:00 pm) @ Southborough Library: Participants gather in the Children’s Room. Dress in red, white, and blue and use our flags, noisemakers, and accessories. Refreshments will be served after the parade. All ages, no registration required. (Sponsored by the Friends of the Southborough Library.) For details, see related post.
