Next week is concert #3 in the Southborough Summer Concert 2022 series. Weather permitting, that takes place Wednesday, July 27th.
Chuck & Mud will be playing with the Hole in the Dam Band. It’s their third time on the Neary outdoor stage.
The band played in the 2014 & 2016 series. For those who missed them (or can’t recall), they are known for performing covers and originals of Folk Americana.
You can check out their sound courtesy of Southborough Access Media’s video of their 2016 performance:
The free, family-friendly concert takes place at the Neary School fields (53 Parkerville Road) from 6:00 – 8:00 pm. As always, the concert is on the lawn. So, bring blankets/chairs, and bug spray.
You can treat the evening like a dinner concert. Attendees are encouraged to bring their own picnics or buy from the food truck that will be on site. This session features Joe’s Food Truck.
For this summer’s series, Friends of Southborough Recreation are sponsoring lawn games to help keep kids entertained at the concerts while parents kick back. Examples they noted are “jumbo Connect4, jumbo soccer balls, corn hole and more.”
One more headline act is scheduled bi-weekly this summer on Wednesdays – Paxton Crossing on August 10th (with food sold by Sabrosa).
