To encourage Southborough families to disconnect from screens and reconnect with each other, Southborough Youth and Family Services is hosting a special Family Game Night a week from tomorrow.
The event is timed to kick off the National Day of Unplugging (sundown Friday, March 3rd to sundown Saturday, March 4th).
For the National Day of Unplugging, as usual, SYFS is asking residents “to take this day to carve out precious time to unplug, relax, reflect, be active, visit the outdoors, and connect with loved ones.”
The kickoff game night event is free and open to Southborough families of all ages. But pre-registration is encouraged.
We will have a range of activities for all age groups. From cards and board games to coloring stations. Brite House DJs will be there adding to the fun vibe. We are asking families to register so we know how many people to expect. (We will have overflow access to the gym, if needed, with expanded “yard games” and basketball offerings.)
Pizza and concessions will be for sale with proceeds supporting Friends of the Southborough Youth Commission’s Summer Camp Scholarship program.
The event will take place at Woodward School, 28 Cordaville Road. To register, click here.
