The Southborough Library is promoting their Summer Reading program for teens and older children. In addition to weekly programs and special events, they are encouraging readers of all ages to log their time spent reading this summer.

The following programs are ones geared towards older kids and teens.

(Kids on the younger end of tweens may also enjoy some of the activities for younger kids that I posted about under the Children’s Summer Reading program.)

summer reading teens and adults flyerTracking Summer Reading

“Summer Reading has officially started! Readers of all ages have an opportunity this summer to log minutes spent reading and help the library reach it’s goal of 100,000 minutes read. . . Teens and adult readers get a free book for signing up and entered in a raffle if you log 10 hours spent reading!

Readers ages 12+ can click here to sign up and track minutes online until August 21st. (Readers under 12 can take part in the separate reading logs/tracking and raffle for younger kids. Read about that here.

Updated (6/29/23 10:20 am) The Drop-in Chess program won’t be offered on July 24th.

Updated (6/30/23 9:50 am) I fixed a typo in the Summer Craft Club schedule. It starts at 2:00 pm (not 12). Plus, the Library posted a registration page for readers to sign up with their chapter of the Science Adventures Book Club (rather than directly with the museum).

Updated (7/12/23 10:04 am) I added a registration link for the Eco-Friends club. (You can also find more info on it here.)
